1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or playing Moniboi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Butterlemonade grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App for any commercial purpose without written permission from Butterlemonade
Remove or alter any proprietary notices within the App

4. App Provided "As Is"

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BUTTERLEMONADE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Butterlemonade does not warrant that:

The App will meet your requirements
The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs
Defects will be corrected
The App is free of viruses or other harmful components

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BUTTERLEMONADE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of data or save game progress
Device damage or malfunction arising from use of the App
Any other loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App

YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE APP IS TO STOP USING IT.

6. Data Loss

Moniboi stores save game data locally on your device. Butterlemonade is not responsible for any loss of save data resulting from device failure, OS updates, App reinstallation, or any other cause. Back up your device if save data is important to you.

7. Content Disclaimer

Moniboi is a work of fiction created for entertainment purposes. All characters, events, organizations, and scenarios depicted in the App are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.

The App contains themes including:

Poverty and financial hardship (presented with dark humor)
Simulated criminal activity (as a game mechanic, purely fictional)
Death and mortality (as game-over states)
Dark and sardonic humor about economic struggle

These themes are presented in a stylized, non-graphic, text-based context for entertainment. They do not constitute endorsement, glorification, or instruction regarding any illegal or harmful activity. The App is rated Teen (ESRB T / PEGI 12).

8. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Ensuring the App is appropriate for any minor who may use your device
Maintaining your device and keeping it in working order
Any costs associated with downloading or using the App (e.g., data charges)

9. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including but not limited to text, code, design, and audio, is the intellectual property of Butterlemonade and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. Updates to Terms

Butterlemonade reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be made available through the App's store listing. Continued use of the App after changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

Butterlemonade reserves the right to discontinue the App or your access to it at any time without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Butterlemonade operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
